Ri-Ann Pully is a Bermudian-born Film & Television Editor, Compositor, Creative Producer and Curator based in Toronto, Canada. With a background spanning film, television, visual effects, live performance and music, her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, visual creativity and community.
Before pursuing film, Ri-Ann trained in Ballet for 12 years at the School of Russian Ballet in Bermuda. Her passion for storytelling began in her teens when she produced, filmed and edited her first short film, "Dangerous Minds" (2009), which earned her a nomination for Youth Philanthropist of the Year. What began as an interest in filmmaking evolved into a career spanning editing, visual effects and creative production.
Over the past decade, Ri-Ann has worked with Toronto-based production companies and organizations including OYA Media Group and the Canada Media Fund. Her editing work includes documentaries, scripted and unscripted series, music videos and creative projects, with work screened at festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, Inside Out Film Festival and American Black Film Festival.
As a VFX Artist and Compositor, Ri-Ann has contributed to award-winning Film and Television productions, with credits including "The Umbrella Academy", "Altered Carbon" and "Star Trek: The Expanse". Her work has appeared across platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Discovery+ and Apple TV.
Alongside her work in Film and Television, Ri-Ann is passionate about creating opportunities and spaces for underrepresented artists. She is the Founder and Curator of Liveations Hub, an artist and creative-focused platform that creates space for BIPOC and Queer artists to connect, collaborate and share their work within a supportive community.
She is also the Founder and Curator of Loud Haus Music Canada, a curated collaborative music platform bringing together vocalists, producers, songwriters and musicians through structured studio sessions designed to encourage collaboration, creative development and meaningful industry connections.
Ri-Ann is currently developing "The Sync Sessions", an unscripted music-meets-film concept exploring the creative process of writing and producing original music for film, television, advertising and other visual media. The project brings together emerging and established artists to respond to creative briefs and transform stories into music, highlighting the intersection between music, screen storytelling and sync licensing.
Through her work across editing, VFX, music, live arts and creative producing, Ri-Ann continues to build projects and platforms that connect artists, stories and communities.
